Raharney Utd v Walsh Island.

We played Walsh Island at home on Bank Holiday Monday in a lovely sunny afternoon afternoon. We started well and colm scored a great goal from outside the box. Dylan doubled the lead and we were leading 2-0 after 15 minutes, but the away side won a penalty after a tough tackle in the box and their striker converted from the spot. The goal game Walsh Island some momentum and they equalised after half an hour. Some great play saw Harry get our 3rd goad to give us a single goal advantage at half time. The second half was a lot tighter and both keepers were making good saves, donnacha pulled off a couple of brilliant saves and our defense made a few brilliant last man tackles to keep up ahead. We created a couple of great chances but just couldn't finish them. A well taken free kick from colm over the defence found Dylan at the edge of the box to calmly finish to put us 4-2 up at the final whistle. The whole team performed great today and deserved the win but we'll done to Walsh Island for a great game today. Man of the match today with 2 goals was Dylan.
