Raharney Utd 3 Kinnegad 2.
Tonight we welcomed Kinnegad to Higginstown for a friendly match.
After being without a game since the first week of March the lads were a bit rusty and Kinnegad had the best of the early exchanges. But it was Raharney who took the lead when a clearance from the back was flicked on by Shayne to put Alfie through to finish well. Kinnegad still plsyed some very good football but it was Raharney who doubled their lead when Jack held up the ball in midfield and played a lovely through ball to Kon who made no mistake. Kinnegad got one back early in the second half from an og.
Raharney extended their lead when Steven played Shayne through the middle only for Shayne to be taken down for a penalty which he converted. Kinegad pulled one back through Steven Burbridge but Raharney held on the win.
