This morning saw us hosting table toppers Temple Villa. We lost our keeper Kon before the game and Luke Delaney stepped up to go in goals. Temple Villa started the stronger and their Well organised passing game caused us problems early on but our defence was up to the challenge. Our best chance of the half fell to Alfie Armstrong but his shot went just wide. It was the visitors who took the lead when the ball was bundled in from a corner before half time.

The second half started with Temple on the front foot and they doubled their lead from another corner. This sparked our lads into life and we got our break through from the penalty spot converted by Alfie Armstrong. Alfie thought he had levelled the game shortly after but the ref ruled it out for a very close offside. Raharney pressed on for an equaliser but it was Temple Villa who got their 3rd to seal the win.

A tough game today against a very well organised side but the lads worked hard and kept going to the end.

Man of the Match today goes to Ronan Matthews who was solid as a rock at centre back. Well done Ronan.
