Match day 4 saw us hosting AC Celtic in what we new would be a tough game.

Both teams started off well with good passing football from both sides. Raharney had a couple of early chances the best of which saw Dan Geoghegans shot tipped over the bar by the keeper shortly after Dan was put through from mid field only to be taken down in the box the ref pointed to the spot penalty for Raharney. Shayne Monaghan stepped up and slotted it home. 1 0 to the home side. AC Celtic pushed on and upped their passing game and got their reward before half time to make it 1 1 at half time. AC started the second half strong and their passing was causing us plenty of problems but thanks to our excellent defence and Kon in goals we kept them at bay. Raharney pushed on for a winner late on with a couple of half chances but it finished 1 1.

Another excellent performance in from the lads against top opposition well done to everyone.

Again a very tough decision for man of the Match with some excellent performances from our back 4 especially Kundai and Luke. But Man of the Match today goes to Shayne Monaghan who was a constant threat up front and kept his head to convert the penalty.
