Raharney Utd 2 Mullingar Athletic
Great game
V Mullingar
Played on a wet morning, Raharney travelled to Mullingar with a weakened side due to time mix ups and injuries.
But this Raharney team is very much together as a team.
The game started with Mullingar doing all the pressing but Raharney were comfortable defending with Tom Shaw and Sean Coleman defending well.
Mullingar got the breakthrough with a goal half way through the first half but Raharney equalised through Jack Barry with great interplay between the forward line.
Kerman Mitchell was running the show with his clever play and awareness of space.
Half time came with the teams evenly matched.
The second half started with Raharney making changes and the substitutes taking up were their teammates left off.
Raharney got their breakthrough when Jack Barry scored his second goal. The match settled into a game that Raharney controlled easily and they were happy to see out the game with an away win.
Man of the match goes to Keenan Mitchell who had a great game.
Well done lads
Proud coaches.
