After a disappointing start to our season restart, Raharney U12’s came out for this match against Mullingar Ospreys all guns blazing with a point to prove.
For the opening quarter it was a evenly contested game with Raharney doing all the probing.
They got their just rewards with the opening goal from Jack Barry.
The 3 front players were interlinking their play brilliantly, looking to pick each other out.
Mikes Cahill was full of energy and was giving his marker a torrid time and was rewarded with two goals he thoroughly deserved.Emmanuel was back with a bang scoring two goals himself.
In goal Daryl Flynn hardly was troubled due to his positioning and a solid back line marshalled brilliantly by Tom Shaw.
Changes were made and the substitutes carried on the high tempo of the people they replaced.Aoibheann Kennedy had a brilliant game and was a thorn in Mullingar’s side with her running and energy. The midfield was solid with Tadgh Kennedy and Cian Mc Keogh solid throughout.
The man of the match went to Mikey Cahill.Congratulations Mikey.
A great response to their previous loss and well done to the whole team.
Thank you
