Raharney United vs Trim Celtic Black
Our U11 side continued their season with a game at the MDL grounds.
Played in sweltering conditions, it was tough playing in temperatures of 30'c, but credit to both teams as they went out and played a cracker, entertaining the large crowd which had gathered to watch. A tight enough first half as both sides tried to adapt to the conditions, but defences largely dominated.
Things loosened up into the second half, as the blistering heat tired legs, and gaps started to appear, allowing strikers to take advantage.
All in all a great game to watch, with plenty of action and some fantastic goals.
