Raharney 4-2 Rathangan
Raharney due to progression in cup competitions got to play the first of their 4 games in hand which ended with a confortable win. After falling behind twice in the game despite dominating possession Raharney remained calm and took the three points. The massive positive was that 16 players togged out and added so much while also allowing players carrying a knock a rest. Run of wins is now needed in a very open league but Raharney have shown they are not out of place in division 1.
4 excellent goals from Kevin Flynn x2, Joe Cassidy and Noel Corroon. Man of match goes to John O'Gorman who was solid in defence while also displaying skill with step overs that wouldn't be out of place in Brazil.
Next match is a home cup game against Arlington next Sunday at 2pm.
