⚽️Raharney Utd 4 - 4 Banaghar Utd⚽️

Today we welcomed down Banaghar to higginstown for our 1st league game of the new season which turned out to be a 8 goal thriller!!🔥

The game didn’t take long to spark into life when Banaghar broke down the pitch and only for Senan Brady with a goal line clearance it would have been 1 nil to the visitors,straight after that Raharney broke and when szymon played through ball to Tj Ennis who broke through and smashed the ball in the top corner,Raharney kept creating chances and when Justin small worked hard to slot a nice ball into a dangerous area Tj was in the right area to make it 2-0.

Banaghar got 1 back shortly after to make it 2-1.

Raharney created another chance and when senan whipped in a dangerous ball on the right there was a hand ball in the box penalty awarded,up stepped Tj to make it 3-1 and completed his hatrick.

Credit to banaghar who never game up and managed to get another just before the break and made it 3-2 at half time!

2nd half started at the same pace with both teams creating chances but it was banaghar who got the break and made 3-3.

Raharney didn’t stop and kept pushing forward looking to take the lead and when Oisin Goonery latched onto a breaking ball he calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner 4-3

With only 10 minutes remaining banaghar broke through again and put the ball in the net to make 4-4 and that’s the way it finished.

A fair result for both teams with some nice football on display.
