Dunshaughlin Youths FC - 1 ⚽️

Yesterday evening we hosted Dunshaughlin in a windy Higginstown in our second league game in 5 days.  

Dunshaughlin enjoyed more possession, during the first half of the match, without really causing our defence too many problems.  Late on , Dunshaughlin finally broke through into our penalty area, but the shot hit the post. Raharney immediately broke down our left, with Nathan beating 4 defenders and scoring into the top corner, contender for goal of the season.

1 nil up at half time against the run of play, Dunshaughlin started the second half strongly by forcing a series of corners, but our defence held strong. From another breakaway we won a free kick on the left wing, Dylan scored with a header from great delivery.  

After this Raharney started dominating the game with great team defending and excellent breaks, Dylan making it 3 with 10 minutes remaining.  Dunshaughlin never gave up and scored a goal with the last kick of the game. Great result to back up last Thursday and six points from six.  

🙌🏻MOM was an easy call this evening, Nathan Clarke with two great goals well done.🙌🏻
